Title: The Trickster - Part One

Warnings: Possible Season Two spoilers... There may already be a back-story that I haven't seen yet... so I apologize if I drift away from it...
Notes: This is my first fan fiction post of all time of any kind... so be gentle. I appreciate constructive criticism. I don't know if there is an existing backstory on how Yaeko and Kensei first met and I apologize if I'm treading on anyone's toes posting this or go against whatever Tim Kring had in mind. Obviously, all the characters belong to him.
Plot: The story of how Kensei and Yaeko first met before Hiro arrived in Japan.

Does anyone know why exactly eating gluten will cause brain fog in people with celiacs? I've tried Googling answers to that and headaches but I can't seem to find anything that explains what goes on at I guess as cellular level to cause these types of reactions.

Apparently today my allergies have decided to make me their bitch. I can't talk for sneezing. (Srsly, seven times just now. I need to make a phone call gdi) and I can't see for my eyes being so itchy, and if I don't stop rubbing them soon I'm going to look like some freakish mutant person but its not that easy! I'm going INSANE. I've taken my allergy pill, I've taken my vitamin c, I've taken a hot shower. So today I guess I'm just a prison in my own home, because seriously. No one wants to see me all sneezy and gross with bloodshot bug eyes. *opens another box of tissues*

It really sucks though because its a really beautiful day outside, like 75 degrees and I've got that feeling like I've been stuck inside for too long and I was going to take the girls to the park and read or something. BOO ALLERGIES, YOU WHORE. I HOPE YOU DIE.

I am a big fan of egg nog at this time of year. In addition to being gluten free, I am also milk and egg free. Yesterday I found Silk's Nog and thought I would give it a try. It's a bit thinner than I would like and definitely needs some nutmeg on top, but it is a very good gf/df/ef option to the tradition nogs. I just wanted to pass this along since I don't remember seeing this product before.

(Don't be concerned that the packaging doesn't mention that it is GF, I called and confirmed that it is safe.)

Thanks to everyone who suggest stuffing recipes, I went to Whole Foods and they had stuffing cubes in their frozen foods section, I bought a few and will be trying a batch out this week!

Here's a question, just out of curiosity:
How many of you are gluten AND dairy intolerant?

I've been having stomach aches again every morning for about a month and a half now, and I've been painfully careful so I know I haven't been glutened, but my dairy (mainly yogurt) intake has been very high.

Just some pretty face from Chicago Con. Damn they were pretty today, weren't they? Dear boys, plz to wear moar black. Love, Me.

Hey guys! Just letting you know that there's a very small event coming up.
Flay's been working with his alchemy pot, but something is going to go very wrong in a few days! A small mishap in the amount of certain ingredients he's putting into his pot is going to cause anyone who wants to participate to be stuck in a specific set of clothing - of your choosing. Any attempts to change into other clothing will result in those clothes being temporarily morphed into the chosen clothes.

Being a very silly and kind of inconvenient thing happening, it's only going to last one Pluto day - day 124. That is to say the event will be running from November 20th to November 22nd.
